What You Need to Know

Buying Antique, Vintage & Pre-Loved Furniture


We love the fact that you’re thinking of purchasing one of our unique, antique or vintage pieces. We’re sure you’ll understand that part of their individual charm is that they’ve lived a little, and in some cases a lot. We spend a great deal of time searching and selecting quality items and every effort is made to choose products in the best possible shape. However please do bear in mind that the condition, invariably, is not 100% perfect and it cannot to be expected to resemble a brand-new purchase. We love the odd bump and imperfection; in our opinion it only adds to their beauty and unique character.


Delivery Costing Structure


Shipping for large items within the UK - £70.00*

Shipping for medium items within the UK - £50.00*

Shipping for small items within the UK - £15.00*

The correct delivery option can be selected at checkout.


Upon receipt of payment, delivery will be arranged, and you will be contacted to be given an approximate delivery date. All items will be shipped with a tracked and insured courier, unless otherwise arranged.**


Alternatively, you are welcome to arrange collection from our base in Suffolk.


Please ensure you thoroughly check your items for any damage at the point of delivery. Once goods are accepted from the courier either signed or not signed for, no responsibility can be taken by Rowan & Witch Interiors for any loss or damage whatsoever.



*Offshore and non-UK destinations are not part of our standard delivery service. Please contact us directly and we will be happy to offer a competitive shipping quote based on your location and the size of your order.

**Proposed delivery dates are always an estimate and cannot be relied upon completely.


Damaged Deliveries


We do our best to ensure that our products are wrapped sufficiently in order that they survive the journey to you, but we do have to rely upon third party companies to deliver your goods and breakages, unfortunately, can occur from time to time.

If you receive a damaged item from us, please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause you. Please contact us immediately, by email, to inform us, quoting your order number and a photo of the damage. We will organise a collection and ship a replacement out to you subject to stock availability. If replacement stock is not available, a refund will be arranged following collection of the damaged item.



Refunds and Exchanges

Non Furniture Items
Please notify us in by email of your wish to return an item within 14 working days of receiving it, we’ll refund you for both the purchase price and the original delivery charge; however, you are responsible for the cost of returning the item back to us. Please make sure you take reasonable care of the item while it is in your possession, and that it is returned to us unused. It is advisable to obtain proof of postage, just in-case the item is lost in transit.




Furniture returns
Furniture viewed and purchased in person is non-returnable unless otherwise agreed.

For furniture purchased from our online store, please contact us within 7 days of delivery to discuss the return. We cannot accept the return of items that have been used or damaged since delivery. The item will need to be re-wrapped in the original packaging and we will need to make arrangements for its return. The cost of this return is the responsibility of the purchaser. Depending on your location and the size of the order, this could be considerably more than the initial delivery charge paid (minimum £70, increasing with location and size of order). This must be paid prior to collection or will be deducted from any refund due.
